Prometheus Foundation’s mission is to advance Ayn Rand and her philosophy, Objectivism, by seeking and funding proposals from Objectivists with ideas and ambition to advance them. I am the originator of and the sole funding source for the Foundation.
The Prometheus Foundation has two funds: The Objectivist Venture Fund (OVF), and the New Intellectuals Fund (NIF). The OVF provides seed money for innovative ventures whose aim is to spread ideas with the maximum impact. The NIF makes grants from two funds: the Scholarship Fund and the Productiveness Fund. The Scholarship fund supports talented, upcoming scholars, who want to actively promote Objectivism as part of their career plans. The Productiveness Fund supports established Objectivist intellectuals who can use funds to facilitate more time on their important intellectual work, such as doing research or writing a book.
