I had a curious thought: Wicked, evil people hate and want to reduce or destroy good people. I find that incomprehensible. Why would anyone want to hurt good people?
A couple of people come to mind. Michael Milken was a brilliant, innovative financier who provided enormous value for America and the world. He was a good person, who then was hounded by wicked people.
I think of Charles Koch—an enormously benevolent human being—who has done wonderful things with his life. He’s a hero. Yet, he has been vilified and destroyed.
I think of the career colleges education system that did a tremendous amount of good for young people struggling to get on their feet. But wicked people have been dedicated to vilifying, crippling, and closing them.
It’s a mystery to me: How can people try to destroy the good? Why do they have a hatred of the good? I suppose it’s envy. But what is the root of envy? What do you think, guys?
