Life and Motivation

Posted on April 17, 2025April 17, 2025 by Carl Barney

Life requires motivation.

Minimal motivation is the urge to stay alive. That’s basic. But going from there, motivation drives everything. Motivation drives individual lives. Motivation drives and supports a family. Motivation drives and supports individuals in their career. Motivation drives businesses. And motivation drives a whole country—that’s patriotism.

America was founded on motivation. The pioneers came to this country seeking a better life. That was their motivation. They had a “can do” motivating mindset. They had a pioneer mind spirit, and that mind spirit was their motivation. Motivation is energy.

The most destructive thing to motivation in America is restrictive, anti-business laws and the horrors of the Leviathan Regulatory State.

If President Trump’s administration can achieve Zero-based Regulatory Budgeting, it will unleash electrifying American energy. And what is more, it would revitalize America.

The motivation that created America could now save America.

I just love the idea and notion of allowing oneself to be happy and unleashing the power that god gives every human being on this earth to live the best life as possible.
By happenstance, I heard your,Carl Barney, interview on, KNUS, radio in Denver with John Caldera Saturday’s program. I was truly inspired by your positive attitude that totally uplifted my spirits. I grew up in a family that was totally practicing negativism all of the time and therefore was always thinking gloom and doom
Even though I am almost pushing up daises,I want to buy your book and learn how to be more like , Ayn Rand, who you fashion your teaching after. Thanks for inspiring me to be happy and given me the OK of loving myself.
Now I can stop feeling guilty of wanting to be successful. And now I feel I have the capacity to unleash all my potential to be content and happy with myself.

Regulation is tyranny. No-one is allowed to tell anyone else what to do or what not to do. No-one is allowed to regulate the personal, social, or economic life of another. Especially not the government. Government exists in order to prevent people from the tyranny of coercing and “regulating” each other.
