I recently had the pleasure of speaking at the LevelUp conference in Atlanta, an event filled with inspiring speakers, engaging presentations, and a benevolent atmosphere.
I focused my presentation on the themes from my book, The Happiness Experiment. I spoke about the importance of happiness planning and about how being deliberate in creating happiness can transform our lives. I introduced the concept of the “prequest,” which is an inheritance granted before the grantor passes away. The audience was engaged and eager to learn more about these ideas.
The conference featured a diverse range of speakers, each of whom brought unique insights and perspectives, making the event intellectually enriching. Some of the highlights included:
- Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, discussed the foundations of “luxury feminism” and its impact in the world.
- Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, explored critical race theory and its impact on society.
- Hannah Frankman, founder of rebelEducator, shared her journey of breaking societal rules and thriving as a result.
- David Hardy, a trial court judge, spoke about overcoming adversity and using trauma as a catalyst for personal growth.
Workshops focused on skills development, mental health, and professional advancement. The sessions were interactive and provided valuable takeaways. The conference provided opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about ideas.
LevelUp 2024 was an uplifting experience; I left the event feeling inspired!
