When I first read Atlas Shrugged, I thought “there’s something important here.” But I did not and could not appreciate it fully until I read Ayn Rand’s nonfiction and took Dr. Leonard Peikoff’s courses. Then I appreciated it immensely! When I began to apply the philosophy, to use it personally in my life and for my business, and when I observed the results and benefits to me and my business, I became deeply grateful to Ayn Rand and Leonard Peikoff (which is why I promote them).
After more exposure, I had an even deeper appreciation for and felt more gratitude toward them. I saw Ayn Rand’s genius and courage and experienced Leonard Peikoff’s brilliance and masterful teaching. I came to admire them greatly. They are great. They are heroes.
From all of the above, I came to know and value them, and so came to love them.
So, there is a flow: appreciation, gratitude, admiration, and love.
