Don’t be fooled by the media-reported spike in new COVID-19 cases. When you go looking for something, you will find it. Now, testing is more widespread, so new cases are coming to light. What a surprise!
Real deaths from COVID are tragic, but it’s mind-boggling how the mad media is peddling false, inflammatory, alarming, and hysterical nonsense. Of course you are going to find new cases when you go looking for them. Of course you are going to find new cases when you increase testing, because you expect to find them. That’s why you’re testing. These simple truths seem to elude politicians and particularly the media.
Further, it’s now clear that people in assisted living homes and other senior living facilities are particularly vulnerable–that’s where 80% of cases are. And yet, certain governors sent people who tested positive for COVID back into those facilities. Can you believe the callousness?
Another relevant emerging fact is that the virus is not spread by casual contact. You need to have prolonged contact with people who have the virus. And politicians still want everyone locked down at home, packed in together 24/7 for weeks. This is insane. These lockdowns are actually causing more cases than there otherwise would be; they’re killing people. Of course, the politicians and the media will never admit to this mistake.
I’m not saying anything that’s not already in the news from a few respected sources, but it’s frustrating to see the media and politicians not admitting the obvious.
