The Greatest Showman

Posted on May 6, 2020April 14, 2022 by Carl Barney

I love The Greatest Showman, a spectacular movie which I watched last night for the fourth time. Everything about it is perfect. I think it is a great work of art.

The story, about love and a great entrepreneur, is captivating. The music and songs delight, haunt, and thrill; they are performed flawlessly, as is the acting. Hugh Jackman masterfully portrays the P.T. Barnum character.

The exuberant dancing and incredible choreography are, by far, the best I have ever witnessed.

The artistry and the cinematography are masterful, creative, and thrilling.

I am not a movie critic (in fact, this is my first “review,” and all I can do is gush). Just watch it for the first time, or again, and be transported.
