Did Libby DeBlasio Webster and her political cronies get Judge Mullins taken off the case so that they could pursue further prosecution and harassment of CollegeAmerica? See this decision by Mullins in favor of CollegeAmerica, and ask yourself whether the AG would have had a prayer of persisting with Judge Mullins in place, particularly since he was so critical of their “biases.”
Notwithstanding that loss, when a new judge was assigned Ms. Webster doubled down on investigations, and her charges, and her attempts to provide false witnesses (documented here). The current judge assigned to the case is a liberal Democrat who was once the President of the Trial Lawyers Association and is generally favorable to the AG.
The judge has been sitting on the case now for over two years without making a decision. Yes, you read that right. It’s now been over two years, and the judge has still not issued a decision.
